The Golden State Warriors take a trip to Texas this Monday evening, November 19 to face the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center, with tip off coming at 8:30 PM EST.
Oddsmakers are giving the edge to the home team in this one, listing the Mavericks as -5 1/2 point favorite, while posting and over/under total at 199 1/2 points.
The Warriors come into this matchup with a record right at the .500 mark, with five wins and five losses after ten games played this season. However, they are 3-1-2 against the spread when playing on the road thus far, but have covered just twice in seven games when listed as the underdog.
Meanwhile, Dallas has opened up its season with six wins and five losses after their first eleven games, but they are below the .500 mark against the spread with a 4-7 record. Even worse, at home they own a 2-3 ATS record and when they are listed as favorites this season they are just 2-4.
The Warriors are 18-7-1 against the spread in their list 26 games played on the road, but 0-3-1 in their last four contests played on a Monday.
They have gone over the posted total in nine of their last twelve games following an ATS loss.
The Mavericks are only 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games played at home and 0-5 in their last five when playing on one days rest.
They have gone over the posted total in five of their last six games played at home.
This is one of those games where you just are hoping to see boh teams run up and down the court firing qucik shots and scoring. And for this reason I like this game to easily over the posted total of 199 1/2.
